My 2015 Beauty Favorites

Hello everyone! I am probably the last person to write about 2015 favorites but I thought it was appropriate cuz it is still January haha. Most of the products that I will mention I have already mentioned in my blog before but they just need another shout out!

Lets start off with foundation. I have mentioned the Revlon Colorstay so many times but it is my go to foundation. I have tryed out a few others throughout the year and I always just go back to Colorstay. I am on the look out for a new foundation since I have been using this one for about three years and it is time for a change. I love the coverage but the only problem I have with it is the color. I can never find a perfect color for myself and I always look too pink. Do any of you know which shade is light and a bit more warm and yellow toned?

The next products I want to mention are blushes. I have three blushes that I have used constantly last year. The first one is E831E Pearlescent Pink by Wet n Wild. This was my go to summer blush and I literally used it every day of the summer. The pigmentation is awesome and as you can see I hit pan on mine.

The next two are from my Makeup Revolution ultra blush palette. I have the color Sugar and Spice and the first two blushes in the palette  I have been using since fall and I still do on a daily basis. As you can see I also hit pan on one of them and the palette is pretty beat up.

There is only one makeup tool that I want to mention and that is the Real Techniques Miracle Complexion Sponge. I bought this sponge last spring and I have been using it every day since. It was my favorite way to apply my Colorstay foundation. The only thing I don´t like is that it is a pain to clean and I can never get it looking really clean,  With that being said..ignore its dirtyness in the picture.

Makeup Revolution Iconic 3 eyeshadow palette was my go to palette. The colors are a dupe for the UD naked 3 palette. These are not the best quality eyeshadows but for my every day needs they work perfectly fine. The colors are beautiful and the price is amazing. I would suggest an eyeshadow primer with these. As you can see in the picture below I have really used mine a lot!

I have tryed a couple of different eyelashes from the drugstore and they just did not work out for me. They were too heavy and uncomfortable on my eyes. Finally I found a store that sells Ardell eyelashes and I was so excited because everyone raves about them. I bought the style 120 Demi black and I was so pleasantly surprised when I put them on. They were so light and comfortable. I didn´t feel them on my eyes at all.

Now lets talk about some lip products. I am a huge Wet n Wild fan and their Megalast lipsticks are AMAZING!!! I have so many colors and I absolutely love them. My most worn are definitely Bare it all, Sugar Plum Fairy and Cherry Bomb. Also Stoplight Red is the perfect red for me.

Another lip product that I definitely have to mention is the Bourjois Rouge Edition Velvet. If I am not wearing a WnW lipstick then I am definitely weaing this, I can´t say enough good things about this product. It is so comfortable on the lips and lasts a really long time. I have mine in the color Nude-ist and I really want to pick up more shades.

While we are talking about lips I just want to mention my favorite lip balm. It is the Labello lip butter in Vanilla & Macadamia. I have gone through a couple of these and I use it every morning when I wash my face and every night before going to sleep. It smells really good and it protects my lips very well.

It was so hard for me to narrow down my nailpolishes to a top 5 because there are so many colors that I love. So my favorites in a random order are:

- Bourjois Turquoise block
- Wet n Wild Wear Skinny Jeans (limited edition)
- Ados cosmetics 551
- Catrice (S)wimbledon
- Essence Mandarine Bay

As you can see all the colors are kind of springy but those are just the types of colors that I like to wear year round.

I don´t like to wash my hair often because it is long and curly..and a pain in the butt to style. Dry shampoo is a must have for me because it helps keep my hair clean looking between washes. Batiste dry shampoo is my favorite and I have mentioned it in previous posts. I absolutely love it and it works so well for me.

Last but not least I want to mention the Victoria´s Secret fragrance mist in Amber Romance. I have worn this all summer because it is light and it smells so good!!

Those would be my favorite products of 2015. As you can see I did not have a favorite mascara or lipgloss. I have tryed a lot but there was nothing that just stood out to me.

Thank you all so much for reading!!

NOTW: Red Red

Hello everyone!!

This week on my nails I have been wearing Red Red by Wet n Wild.

This is a true basic red and it is opaque in two coats. Also, it lasted quite a while on my nails. Usually I am not a big fan of red nails but I actually wore this nailpolish twice in a row.

Before this, I haven´t worn red on my nails since New Years but I actually am starting to like how it looks on me.

What do you think of this color? Are you a fan of red nails??

Review: Wet n Wild Megalast Liquid Lipcolor - Click on my Hyper Pink

Hello everyone! Todays post will be a review on this Wet n Wild Megalast Liquid Lipcolor in the shade Click on my Hyper Pink.

As soon as Wet n Wild came to my country, this color cought my eye because I have been looking for a shade like this. At first I didn´t pick it up because it is out of my comfort zone and I read pretty bad reviews on these liquid lipcolors. Not too long ago I decided to buy it anyway because it is not expensive so even if I didn´t like it , it wouldn´t be a huge waste of money.

The liquid lipcolor is very opaque as you can see in the swatch above and I would describe this color as a fuschia barbie pink! The staying power is also amazing as this swatch stayed on my hand for about three days. It made it through showers, body scrubs etc... I will have to say though, that it doesn´t look as good on the lips after a while as it does on the hand.

I really like the packaging and I think it looks very nice. As you can see it has a sponge tip applicator that collects a lot of the product on it. My suggestion is to wipe off a lot of the product before applying. I just found that it works better that way, atleast for me.

I really have a love hate relationship with this product. I absolutely love the color and how opaque it is in just one layer, but it is sooo dry on the lips. You can see all the wrinkles on the lips and my lips feel so weird when I wear this. It is also very sticky and when you apply it, do not rub your lips together because it will get so patchy!

The way I like to wear this is to apply a very hydrating and thick balm underneath and then put the lip color on with very little product on the applicator. I did find though, that after a couple of hourse of wearing it like this, it gets patchy and ugly.

The best way to remove this product is with an oil based makeup remover or just some other oil like olive oil or coconut oil.

Even though I really love the color, I would not repurchase this Wet n Wild Megalast Liquid lipcolor again because it just takes too much time to make it look good  and I have to keep checking in the mirror to make sure it is still in place.

Have any of you tryed this product? Did you like it?

Thank you so much for reading!! xoxo

New In

Hello everyone!! I just wanted to show you a few items that I purchased over the last week or two. I don´t have many to show, but I want to anyways :)

- Essence nail art nailpolish remover ultra - I ran out of nailpolish remover so I decided to pick this one up since I have never tryed it before. I only used it once so far so I don´t really have an opinion on it yet!

- Somersets extra delicate English shaving oil - I actually won this little guy in a giveaway on Facebook and I am very excited to try it because I have very sensitive skin. I really hope that it works for me and makes shaving easier..

- Encian Neven cream ( neven means calendula, so this is a calendula cream) - This is a repurchase. I ran out of my other face cream so I decided to buy this one again since calendula is good for the skin. I use it before makeup and at night before bed.

- Ziaja cocoa butter shower soap- I already have a Ziaja cocoa butter face cream and I really liked it so I wanted to try something else from the line and I picked this. So far I am loving it.

- Eveline Cosmetics Sun Care water resistant body sun milk- I really needed a new sunscreen since summer is coming and I will be spending lots of time at the beach . I chose this one from Eveline and I think I will like it since I am not picky with my sun screens.

- Wet n Wild megalast liquid lip color - I picked up this liquid lip color in the shade Click on my Hyper Pink . I loved this color as soon as I saw it but I never really wanted to buy it since I did not read the best reviews on these. After a while I just decided to give it a go since it is not expensive.

Those are all of the items that I picked up lately. Have you picked up anything new?

Thank you so much for reading !!! xoxo

My ALL TIME Favorites

Hello everyone!! In todays post I will share with you some of my all time favorite products/items! Some are make up related others are just random things that I love and always go back to. Some of these items I have previously mentioned on this blog but needed to include in this post anyway :)

- Real Techniques Expert Face Brush : I am absolutely in love with this brush. I use it every single day for so many things...foundation, bronzer, blush and its amazing!! I highly recommend it!

- Revlon Colorstay foundation : This is my all time favorite foundation. I love the full coverage of it and the lasting power. Also it is amazing that they have a version for oily skin and a version for normal/dry skin.

- L´Oreal Volume Million Lashes mascara : I have been using this mascara for years and I always go back to it. It just makes my eyelashes look really nice and it doesn´t clump on me. I think L´Oreal mascaras in general are amazing!!

- Wet n Wild Megalast lipsticks : I have only had these lipsticks for a few months and I am soo in love with them. I only have two colors but I wear them almost every day. They last so long on the lips and feel great. Another awesome thing is the really low price. I have Think Pink and Bare It All and next I want to buy Just Peachy and Mauve Outta Here!

Next are just a few of my all time favorite nailpolishes! I didn´t want to include too many so I narrowed it down to four amazing colors!

I love nailpolish and I have quite a few of them. I am not really a person that wears certain colors during certain seasons I just wear whatever I like year round. Here are my four favorite colors from left to right:

- Bourjois Turquoise Block
- Essence Purple Sugar
- Essence Free Hugs
- Eveline 811

Next are just some random items that are not makeup related but I love them anyway :

- Violeta baby wipes with chamomile : These are my favorite wipes and the only ones that I have bought since I discovered them. They are perfectly wet and smell really good. I just like to have them in the house for many reasons but sometimes I even remove makeup with them.

- Afrodita Vanilla liquid hand soap: This soap smells sooo good I almost want to eat it. It is the only one that you will ever find in my bathroom.

- Neutro Roberts deodorant in Powder Fresh : The smell of this deodorant is amazing and it keeps me fresh all day . It is also alcohol free which is always great. For years I have been using the spray version and just recently I decided to try the roll on and I love it just as much.

- Bettina Barty Vanilla hand and body lotion : I have already mentioned this product in a previous post and I really love it. The smell stays on the skin for a long time but if you have dry skin I don´t think this is hydrating enough for you.

And last but definitely not least is a purse that I just had to mention in this post.

I love this purse so much it is like my favorite item  that I own. I have worn it for two whole summers every day and this summer wont be any different. I actually ordered this purse from a lady that makes purses so I got to choose the colors, material and everything. She has a page on facebook called Mary Bo Bags and you can check out the pictures of her other purses. These colors are just perfect for summer and the bag is awesome quality. I hope it lasts me for a few more summers :)

I am sure I have a few more all time favorite items but I just can´t think of them at the moment so that would be it for this post! I hope you guys enjoyed it and thank you for stopping by!! xoxo

March Favorites

Hello everyone!!! In todays post I will be sharing my March favorites. I decided not to do a February favorites post because I really didn´t have many. It was basically all the same stuff from January. There isn´t a lot this month either but I wanted to share them anyway.

The first thing that I have been loving is this body oil spray from Avon.  It is called the Skindisiac and it has passionfruit in it. I just think that it smells really good and it doesn´t leave my skin oily.

I have been using this Eveline Art Scenic foundation every day of this month. It is not my all time favorite foundation but I do really like it. I might do a review on it soon so keep your eyes out for that.

Karl Says Tres Chic is such a pretty color from Catrice and I have enjoyed wearing it this month. I wrote a little bit more about it here .

I have been enjoying this Ziaja cocoa butter cream. It smells so so good and it is pretty thick. I like using it at night and under my makeup. I don´t think that it will suit me when it gets warmer but it was perfect for these colder winter months.

I purchased another Wet n Wild megalast lipstick in the shade E902C Bare It All. I have been wearing it every single day since I bought it. Sometimes on its own and sometimes with this Claire´s lipgloss on top. The lipgloss isnt that great but I just like the color of these two together.

This is the Artdeco blush from the Dita Von Teese collection in the shade 20. I really like this soft pink color a lot and I have been wearing it almost every day.

Last but not least is this Manhattan Khol Kajal eyeliner in the color black 1010N. My friend gave this to me and I have been using it a lot this month and I really like it.

Those would be all of my favorites for the month of March. Thank you so much for reading and check back again! xoxo

nails of the day: NEW YEARS EVE

Hello everyone!! I know that I haven´t written anything in the longest time..but i´m back and I would like to start off by wishing all of you a very happy and successfull new year!!!
Todays quick post will be about the nailpolishes that I wore on New Years eve :)  I chose to go with red because I think that it is the perfect color for the holidays.  I added a couple of coats of glitter to make them even more festive.

I started off by painting my nails this pretty red color from the wet n wild Wild Shine collection and the shade is called Red Red. I only used one coat and I really like how opaque it is. Also I was soo excited because this brand just recently came to my country and I grabbed three colors right away!!
After the red dryed I applyed one coat of gold glitter from Essence. The color is called 121 gold fever.
On top of that I applyed another coat of glitter from Avon in the color rose golden. I love how these three colors look together and it was perfect for the holidays. Do you guys prefer to wear red nailpolish or glitter through the holiday season?!
