How to remove glitter nailpolish

Who doesn´t love glitter nailpolish?! I know I do, but when it comes to taking it off it is a pain in the butt. I looked online for an easier way to remove it and found a few methods. One is with aluminum foil which doesn´t work for me because I am too lazy to cut up ten strips :) The second way is just a lot more simple for me but it does take some time so if you are in a rush don´t do this.

All I do is pour the nailpolish remover into the lid and soak one nail at a time for 3-4 minutes. This does take a while because you can´t soak them all together but it does not bother me. After the time is passed I take a wet cotton pad and easily wipe the nailpolish off. I use an acetone free remover but this would work even better with a remover that has acetone. After I am done I wash my hands and apply a hydrating cream  so they don´t get dried up from the nailpolish remover. Thats it :)

How do you remove glitter from your nails? If you have a better and even easier way please let me know!!

Thanx for reading! xo

Nails of the week

Hello everyone! I haven´t posted my nails of the day in a while so that is what todays post will be about. I am changing the title to NOTW since I paint my nails weekly not daily. This is what I have been wearing on my nails this week :

The past few weeks I have been wearing bright colors so this week I wanted to go with something a little more neutral but still pretty. I chose two nailpolishes from Essence. First I applied two coats of a brownish color called 164 crazy fancy love and on top I put on one layer of the glitter called 121 gold fever.

I think this combination is so pretty and the nails just looks fancy to me. I love it!

What do you think of this combination and what have you been wearing on your nails lately??

Thank you so much for reading! xo

Products I don´t like ...

Hello everyone! Todays post will be about a few products that I don´t like or that just don´t work for me. That doesn´t mean that you wont like them since we are all different.

1. Claire´s eyeshadow palette - My sister bought this palette for me when she was in Wien and I was very excited because it does have some pretty shades for everyday looks. I was disappointed with it because the eyeshadows have such bad pigmentation and I am just not satisfied with the results.

2. Essence nose strips- In this packet you get three strips for about $3 - $4..I just think that there are better nose strips out there, atleast for me. They just don´t pull out enough gunk out of my nose and I will not be purchasing them again.

3. Avon naturals body spray (vanilla) - I am such a huge fan of vanilla scents and it is my all time favorite smell. I was so excited about this product because I thought I could have it in my purse at all times and I could always smell like vanilla but I really don´t like it. The first ingredient is alcohol and I can really smell it when I spray this on myself so that is a huge pass for me. Also, the scent doesn´t stay on too long. I will use it up but I am not going to buy it again.

4. Aiko system repair spray-  This is a leave in spray that claims to make hair shiny, strong and easy to brush. I have been trying to use this product up for the longest time and thank God I am almost done. It does absolutely nothing for my hair. I was hoping it would make it easy to brush my hair after I wash it but NO.  It has an ok smell but thats not enough.

5. Syoss heat-protect spray- I just don´t like this heat protector and Syoss products in general don´t work for me (atleast from what I tryed so far). I don´t like the way this feels, smells or anything. I can´t wait to use it up so that I can buy a different one.

6. s-he stylezone lipstick shade 175 - I was so excited when I bought this color because it looks soo pretty in this cheap looking package :) After I got home and applyed it to my lips I was really disappointed because the color is a lot lighter than it appears and the color does not apply evenly everywhere. In some places it is lighter in others it is darker. Im not sure that I will ever wear this in public unless I find a way to make it work.

That would be all of the products that I own at the moment that I don´t like. Have you tryed any of these products and what do you think?? Thank you so much for reading! xoxo

There is so much to see and it was a lot more then we expected. I hope to go again one day and stay for atleast a week so I can see everything this city has to offer.

That is my weekend in just a few pictures. I literally wanted to take a picture of every building because they are all so beautiful! Have any of you been to Budapest? How do you like the city and would you go back again?  xoxo

Review: Bourjois 123 Perfect

Hello everyone! Todays post will be a quick review on the Bourjois 123 Perfect foundation.  First I want to talk about the packaging. I love this type of packaging with a pump. It is so practical and hygenic and you can control how much product comes out. The bottle is glass and there is 30 ml of product. For myself I got the shade 51 light vanilla and my favorite way to apply it is with a real techniques expert face brush.

This foundation doesn´t have a nice yummy scent like the other Bourjois foundations but its not a bad smell and it doesn´t bother me. It claims to have three pigments that help the imperfections on the face: yellow pigments for anti-dark circles, mauve pigments for an anti-dull complexion and green pigments that are for anti redness. It also claims to have 24 hr hydration and to keep your complexion flawless up to 16 hours.

To me this foundation is just OK and I don´t know if I would purchase it again. It is very light and comfortable to wear but it does not cancel out my redness or cover up my imperfections. In the right picture above I have one layer of foundation on without any concelear or primer. I would say that the coverage is medium and it is a good foundation for every day especially for girls with oily or combination skin. If you tend to get dry patches like me I wouldn´t suggest this product because it does stick to them and it just doesn´t look nice. The price of it is ok but I think you can find better drugstore foundations for the same or less money.

positive things: -packaging with a pump
     -light weight
                        -easy to apply and blend

negative things: -not enough coverage
                       -sticks to dry patches
-price

That is all I have to say about this product. Keep in mind that this is just my opinion and how the foundation works for me. Some of you might like it others might not. Thank you for reading and check back again for more posts! xo
