NOTW: Fuchsia Salsa

Hello everyone! This weeks NOTW is 49 Fuchsia Salsa by Max Factor. It is a max effect mini nailpolish and it is the newest addition to my nailpolish collection so of course I had to wear it.

On my nails I have two coats on and I absolutely love this color. Also, I don´t have a similar color in my collection.

I also prefer mini nailpolish because I never actually use up a nailpolish so minis are awesome.

The above picture was taken outside, all the rest are indoors.

What do you think of this color? Do you like mini nailpolishes or full size?

NOTW: Eveline miniMAX 801

Happy Monday everyone!! I hope you are having a great start to your week. This weeks nailpolish pick is the Eveline miniMAX in the color 801. It´s such a shame that these don´t have cute names.

I would describe this color as a peachy light orange. It is opaque in two coats but I think three would look better. In the pictures I have two coats on.

As you can see the applicator is pretty thin so that is one thing that I don´t like about it.

The color is beautiful and I enjoyed wearing it.

Review: Wet n Wild Megalast Liquid Lipcolor - Click on my Hyper Pink

Hello everyone! Todays post will be a review on this Wet n Wild Megalast Liquid Lipcolor in the shade Click on my Hyper Pink.

As soon as Wet n Wild came to my country, this color cought my eye because I have been looking for a shade like this. At first I didn´t pick it up because it is out of my comfort zone and I read pretty bad reviews on these liquid lipcolors. Not too long ago I decided to buy it anyway because it is not expensive so even if I didn´t like it , it wouldn´t be a huge waste of money.

The liquid lipcolor is very opaque as you can see in the swatch above and I would describe this color as a fuschia barbie pink! The staying power is also amazing as this swatch stayed on my hand for about three days. It made it through showers, body scrubs etc... I will have to say though, that it doesn´t look as good on the lips after a while as it does on the hand. 

I really like the packaging and I think it looks very nice. As you can see it has a sponge tip applicator that collects a lot of the product on it. My suggestion is to wipe off a lot of the product before applying. I just found that it works better that way, atleast for me.

I really have a love hate relationship with this product. I absolutely love the color and how opaque it is in just one layer, but it is sooo dry on the lips. You can see all the wrinkles on the lips and my lips feel so weird when I wear this. It is also very sticky and when you apply it, do not rub your lips together because it will get so patchy!

The way I like to wear this is to apply a very hydrating and thick balm underneath and then put the lip color on with very little product on the applicator. I did find though, that after a couple of hourse of wearing it like this, it gets patchy and ugly.

The best way to remove this product is with an oil based makeup remover or just some other oil like olive oil or coconut oil.

Even though I really love the color, I would not repurchase this Wet n Wild Megalast Liquid lipcolor again because it just takes too much time to make it look good  and I have to keep checking in the mirror to make sure it is still in place.

NOTW: Turquoise Block

Hello everyone! I hope you are having an awesome weekend. The nailpolish I chose for this week is Turquoise Block by Bourjois and I am so excited about this color. 

I absolutely love this color and it is definitely one of my favorites from my whole collection. In my opinion this has the perfect amount of blue and green in it.

The formula is great and the nailpolish is opaque in two coats. The only thing I am not really a fan of is the wide brush, but that´s ok.

Do you like this color as much as I do?? I think it is perfect!

What is in my Beach Bag ?

Hello everyone!! Today I wanted to show you the stuff I take to the beach with me on a daily basis. I go to the beach to relax and enjoy the day so I like to keep it simple.

First let me tell you about the actual beach bag. I bought this bag in a store called Tally Weijl and this is going to be her third summer. I absolutely love it because of the pretty color and the sequins that are on it. It is big enough to fit all of my stuff but it is not too big.

I don´t take any makeup to the beach besides chapstick. I just don´t think it is necessary.

I wanted to include these flip flops even thought I don´t carry them in my bag, but wear them on my feet, just because they are the best. They are the Havaianas flip flops and my favorite are the slim ones. They are kind of expensive but I think it is worth it because they are so comfy and durable. Besides these pink ones I have a white pair and this is going to be their fourth summer.

The actual items that I take to the beach are :

- sun screen with an SPF 30 and an oil

- chapstick

- sunglasses

- hair clip

- a little mirror with a brush

- towel

- bottle of water 

- and some kind of a snack because I love to eat at the beach.

Also, I don´t bring my wallet with me I usually just throw in some spare change because I wouldn´t want it to get stolen.

NOTW : Urban Lemon

Hello everyone!! This week I decided to go with another nailpolish from Maybelline mini Colorama. This color is called 100 Urban Lemon.

I really wanted to wear a yellow nailpolish because that is such a happy color and of course perfect for this sunny weather.

Usually I really like these mini Colorama nailpolishes but this one just didn´t do it for me. On my nails I am wearing three coats and it is still streaky. I prefer just to wear two coats of any nailpolish unless the color is something really amazing then I don´t mind wearing three. 

I want to try and find a very creamy yellow nailpolish, maybe in a lighter pastel color that is opaque in two coats. I really love yellow but I havent found one that I am happy with. Have you?
