Review: Mixa Micellar Water

Hello everyone!!! Today I will be bringing you my thoughts on a new micellar water that I have been trying out over the past month or so.

Mixa is a French brand that recently came to drugstores in my country and I was really excited about trying out some products because they are targeted towards sensitive skin.

This micellar water is hypoallergenic and paraben and alcohol free. It also contains vitamin B5 and rose extract.

Ingredients: water, hexylene glycol, glycerin, poloxamer 184, dihydrocholeth -30, disodium cocoamphodiacetate, disodium edta, panthenol, polyaminopropyl biguanide, rosa gallica extract/rosa gallica, flower extract, parfum/fragrance.

When I first saw that this micellar water had a pump I was super excited about it because I thought it would be really practical. Unfortunately... I was wrong!  The product squirts all over the place and you can´t really control it so you end up wasting some of the product. I found a way that kind of works for me and that is to tilt the bottle and then press the pump like in the picture below :

This product does have a scent but it is very mild and it does not bother me at all. I really do like this micellar water and I don´t think that Bioderma is any better than it. It leaves my skin soft and not irritated or red at all. Also, it doesn´t burn or sting my eyes while removing eye makeup.
It takes me three round cotton pads to remove all of the products that are on my face. I can´t really tell you how it would work on waterproof liners and mascara since I never wear them but it works great on normal makeup.

Another thing I love about it, which is really important to me, is that it isn´t drying at all and doesn´t leave my skin feeling tight.

Now let´s talk about the price... for this bottle of 200 ml I payed about $6.50 which is actually not that much cheaper than Bioderma. It might seem a lot cheaper at first but you do only get 200 ml.

I think that is all I have to say about this product :) I really like it and will probably buy it again after I am done with this bottle.

Have any of you tryed this micellar water from Mixa?? Which brand do you like the best??

xoxo

  11. It's a new brand for me. I've never seen it on sale where I live, but it does have some strong points. The micellar waters I've tried so far, I don't feel they remove my make up properly, but I'm always curious to try a new brand.

Great review and thank you for following. I've added you on google+ as well, hope that's ok.
