Beauty Storage

Hello everyone! When I heard about the Store Your Stash challenge by MakeSpace, a self-storage company, I had to share my makeup storage with you so that is what I will be doing today.  A lot of my makeup is stored in things that are actually not meant for makeup . I like to re-use boxes and such that were actually for something else. You will see what I am talking about below :)

A lot of my lip products are stored in these little boxes. These are actually boxes from q-tips. I though the boxes were so cute and when I used up the q-tips I did not want to throw them away. I keep these boxes in a cabinet with all of my other makeup but this just keeps my lip products neat and organized.

My everyday brushes are stored in a glass cup. The cup used to be a candle but when I burned the candle I cleaned the cup and it was perfect for the brushes I use everyday.  It keeps them all together and they are so easy for me to reach. I just keep the cup next to the mirror where I do my makeup.

The last piece of makeup storage that I will show you is actually my favorite. My everyday makeup is very simple and quick so all the products I use on a daily basis are kept in one spot. I store them all in a monthly beauty box that I got. I just though the box was perfect for putting makeup in it.

 

All the rest of my makeup that I do not use daily like eyeshadow pallettes, eyeliner, lashes, other blushes and mascaras are stored in a cabinet and I know where everything is.

Product Empties: August

Hello everyone!!

Today I want to share with you some products that I have used up in the last few months. I will also tell you what I thought of the product and if I would repurchase it again. Some of the products I have actually already repurchased. 

Batiste dry shampoo: I have mentioned this dry shampoo on my blog so many times and I have to mention it again. I have thick and curly hair so I don´t like washing it often and this product helps me so much with that. It is affordable and there are many scents to choose from. I actually bought a new bottle yesterday.

Amika perk up dry shampoo: I got this little sample in a monthly beauty box and I was really excited because I have heard a lot of good things about it on youtube. The bottle is really cute and the dry shampoo works but I don´t think it is any better than Batiste. I will not be buying the full size because Batiste is so much more affordable and I don´t feel the need to replace it.

Byphasse purifying cleansing gel: This face wash is suitable for all skin types and it does not contain alcohol, soap or parabens. I really liked it because I felt like it cleaned my skin but it did not leave it feeling tight and dry. I repurchased it yesterday and can´t wait to start using it again.

Avon Planet Spa Oriental Radiance balancing facial cleanser- This cleanser contains white tea but looking at the ingredients it also has parabens. It was okay but I wasn´t really that impressed with it.  It didn´t leave my skin feeling tight which is good but I don´t think it cleaned my skin very well and I saw no difference . I will not be ordering this again.

Byphasse Micellar make-up remover solution-  I have nothing bad to say about this product. It removes my makeup well, it does not dry out my skin and it is affordable. It is great for sensitive skin and it is very gentle. I have already repurchased it three times.

Cottage Le Caramel Gourmet shower gel: How delicious does this shower gel look?! When I saw this at the store I was sooo excited because I love sweet delicious scents and this just looked awesome. When I started using it I was so disappointed because the smell was not all that great and it didn´t stick around at all after the shower. It did leave my skin soft but I will not be buying it again because the scent was not what I expected.

Afrodita Vanilla cream shower gel: The same goes for this shower gel. I was expecting to have a delicious shower experience with this but the smell of this was actually bad. It was not even okay...just bad. I will definitely not be buying this product again.

Ducray extra gentle shampoo: I received this sample in a monthly beauty box. The scent is nice and it is paraben free but I was not really impressed. I feel like it does not lather well and I had to use so much product. My drugstore shampoo works just as well so I will not be purchasing this in a full size.

L´Oreal pro fiber restore shampoo and mask: I also received these in a monthly beauty box. The shampoo sample was so small that it was barely enough for even one use so I don´t really have an opinion on it but the mask I tryed a couple of times and I really did not see or feel a difference. 

Happy Hemp night cream with organic hemp oil: I was really excited about this anti ageing cream because it does contain hemp oil and that just sounds interesting to me. This is a night cream so I was expecting a thicker formula but it really is not.  I will not be buying this again because I saw no difference in my skin and it also started smelling kinda weird after a couple of months.

Nikel Rich Cream with passion flower:  I used this cream in the morning under my makeup. I really liked the scent and I liked the cream in general but I didn´t love it so I probably will not buy it again.

Lush Angels on Bare Skin face wash: I loved using this on my face. The ingredients are great and it left my skin feeling so soft and smooth. I will definitely buy this again soon.

Avon Big & False Lash mascara: This mascara has a really big brush and it contains fibers in it. I really liked how it made my lashes look but I could not deal with the fibers that would fall in my eyes. It would literally drive me nuts all day so I will not buy this again.

Maybelline Lash Sensational mascara: I love this mascara and I have gone through atleast three of them. It makes my lashes look really good and a couple of people actually asked me if I was wearing falsies. At the moment I am trying something else but I will most definitely buy this one again.

Catrice Eye Brow stylist: I have not tryed many eye brow products so I can´t really compare it to anything but I really like this pencil. I am on my second one at the moment and the color just works so well for me. The color I use is 020 Date with Ash-ton and it lasts all day.

Nivea protect & care anti-perspirant: As you can see I used up a couple of these. I just love the original Nivea scent so I really liked these. At the moment I am using a different Nivea deodorant but I will definitely buy this one in the future.

Those are all of the products that I have used up lately. Have you tryed any of these that I have mentioned?

Unboxing: Beauty Box

Hello everyone!! Today I want to show you what I got in a new monthly subscription box that is now available in Croatia. It is called Beauty Box and it is 99 kuna a month if you only get it for one month. If you register for more than one month it is a bit cheaper.

The actual box comes in another white box with this cute pink sticker on it. 

This is the actual box. I think it is soo cute and adorable. I love the print on it.. and it opens like a drawer which is pretty cool and different from other boxes that are out there.

Now lets see what was inside the box:

Biomedis face tonik full size (270 kn)

Biomedis oil lotion for the sun full size (240 kn)

Blanx white shock toothpaste full size (29.90 kn)

Felce Azzura body powder (8.90 kn)

Mobyclean cell phone wipe sample ( pack of 5 - 9.98 kn)

That is basically all that I got in my box this month. The overall value is definitely more than what you pay but I am not that impressed. I was hoping to get atleast one makeup product because when I took the quiz before ordering I said that I wanted to get mostly makeup. I will use all of the products but stuff like toothpaste don´t really excite me. I also saw on other peoples pictures that they got a bracelet and I dont know why I didn´t get that but what can you do....

All in all I am a bit disappointed but I will probably order it again to see if it gets any better.

NOTW: Wear Skinny Jeans

Hello everyone! I haven´t posted in a while. I have just been busy with work and life. I also changed up the look of my blog a little bit. I am not sure how I feel about it yet but I kinda like it.

Today I want to show you one of my favorite nailpolish colors ever!

I have had this nailpolish for about a year and I can´t believe that I never dedicated a post to it. It is the Wet n Wild nailpolish in the color E34524 Wear Skinny Jeans. It was part of some limited edition collection and it is probably not available anymore but I want to share it anyways.

So like I said, this is definitely one of my favorite colors. I have worn it over ten times and that says a lot since I don´t usually wear one nailpolish that many times. It is such a beautiful powdery blue color and it reminds me if Cinderella haha. 

What do you all think of this color? Do you have anything similar in your collection?
